Bamberg, 01.08.19 – Computop, ein f\u00fchrender globaler Zahlungsdienstleister, bietet ab sofort eine Biometrie-L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr Online-H\u00e4ndler und Banken an, die ihre Kunden PSD2-konform authentisieren wollen. Mit Biometrie von Computop kann der Handel in Zukunft den Banken die starke Kundenauthentisierung (SCA) abnehmen, damit die Bank zum Zeitpunkt der Zahlung keine Zwei-Faktor-Authentisierung mehr durchf\u00fchren muss.

Die neue Biometrie-L\u00f6sung von Computop entspricht dem besonders sicheren FIDO-Standard (Fast Identity Online) und eignet sich deshalb auch f\u00fcr die PSD2-konforme starke Kundenauthentisierung (SCA) im Online-Handel. Die PSD2 erlaubt ebenso wie Visa und MasterCard eine Verlagerung der SCA auf zuverl\u00e4ssige Dritte. Computop bietet Online-H\u00e4ndlern die M\u00f6glichkeit, selbst eine biometrische Authentisierung ihrer Kunden vorweg zu nehmen, damit die Bank beim Zahlungsvorgang keine Zwei-Faktor-Authentisierung (2FA) mehr durchzuf\u00fchren braucht.<\/p>\n

Die biometrische Authentisierung mit Fingerabdruck, Gesichts- oder Spracherkennung ist ein am Smartphone jahrelang erlerntes Konsumentenverhalten. Es ist besonders sicher und komfortabel. Mit Computop Biometrics k\u00f6nnen Online-H\u00e4ndler die biometrische Authentisierung schon beim Login in ihre App oder ihren Online-Shop oder bei der Bestell\u00fcbersicht im Checkout vorwegnehmen. Computop Biometrics generiert dann eine digitale Signatur, die in Zukunft mit 3D Secure 2.0 als Nachweis einer starken Kundenauthentisierung an die Bank des Kunden \u00fcbertragen wird. Da die PSD2-konforme Authentisierung schon beim H\u00e4ndler erfolgt ist, kann die Bank auf eine eigene Authentisierung verzichten. Auf diese Weise verlegt der H\u00e4ndler die Authentisierung an den Anfang des Einkaufsvorgangs und verhindert Probleme bei der Authentisierung des sensiblen Zahlungsvorgangs am Ende der Bestellung. Computop arbeitet bereits mit mehreren gro\u00dfen Online-H\u00e4ndlern an der Umsetzung dieses Verfahrens.<\/p>\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus kann Computop Biometrics beim App- oder Shop-Login den Betrug durch Account Takeover (Konto\u00fcbernahme) verhindern. Und beim Zahlungsvorgang ist die User Experience mit Biometrie erheblich angenehmer als die verschiedenen PIN-TAN-Verfahren der Banken. Noch ein wichtiger Aspekt im Handel: Welche Erfahrung die Kunden beim Bezahlvorgang machen, h\u00e4ngt k\u00fcnftig davon ab, von welcher Bank ihre Kreditkarten stammen. Dass die Banken unterschiedliche Authentisierungsverfahren nutzen (TAN-Generator, PushTAN etc.) erschwert die Arbeit im Support, wenn ein Konsument Probleme beim Bezahlen meldet. Wenn der H\u00e4ndler die starke Kundenauthentisierung hingegen selbst vornimmt, ist die Customer Journey f\u00fcr alle Kunden einheitlich und leichter nachvollziehbar. Das Verfahren ist DSGVO-Konform. Die biometrischen Daten bleiben immer auf dem Ger\u00e4t des Kunden, Computop vergleicht nur kryptographische Schl\u00fcssel.<\/p>\n

Computop Biometrics ist ab sofort als Cloud-Dienst verf\u00fcgbar f\u00fcr Zugangsschutz, f\u00fcr Login-Prozeduren und f\u00fcr die Absicherung von Zahlungen.
