Die Pepper-Schnittstelle fungiert als \u00dcbersetzer zwischen dem Protokoll des Kassensystems und den individuellen Weiterentwicklungen des OPI-DE-Standards als Sprache der Kartenterminals. Die Anbindung der Kartenleser \u00fcber den Terminalserver von Computop erm\u00f6glicht die Fernwartung der Ger\u00e4te ohne Vor-Ort-Service und die Verwendung eines einheitlichen Terminaltyps in allen Zielm\u00e4rkten.
