Xing f\u00fchrt das \u201eDu\u201c ein \u2013 und erntet teils kr\u00e4ftigen Gegenwind. Warum auch wir eher kritisch sind?<\/p>\n

Seit Mitte Mai duzt das Karriere-Netzwerk Xing seine Mitglieder und begr\u00fc\u00dft auch unter den Mitgliedern die Ansprache per \u201eDu\u201c. Der Ansatz dazu, wie ihn die Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin Sabrina Zeplin in ihrem Beitrag zum Thema<\/a> begr\u00fcndet, klingt auf den ersten Blick gut: Man wolle den Mitgliedern helfen, ihr volles Potenzial auszusch\u00f6pfen \u2013 dazu brauche es Augenh\u00f6he. \u201eDas \u201eSie\u201c steht f\u00fcr eine hierarchische Denk- und Arbeitsweise, mit der wir uns bei XING nicht mehr identifizieren k\u00f6nnen. In der Zukunft der Arbeit sollte sich unserer Meinung nach niemand mehr aufgrund des Alters oder der Position wichtiger f\u00fchlen d\u00fcrfen als irgendjemand anderes. Das \u201eDu\u201c schafft N\u00e4he und eine emotionale Verbundenheit, die auch in einem professionellen Umfeld zu einem signifikant besseren Miteinander f\u00fchrt. Schlie\u00dflich kommt man mit dem \u201eDu\u201c deutlich leichter zum \u201eWir\u201c als mit dem traditionellen \u201eSie\u201c\u201c. Ganz abgesehen davon lasse die Anrede per \u201eHerr\u201c und \u201eFrau\u201c das dritte Geschlecht au\u00dfer Acht, was absolut nicht mehr in unsere Zeit passe.<\/p>\n

Ja, aber\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wir stimmen Frau Zeplin zu, wenn sie sagt, dass in einem Gro\u00dfteil der Unternehmen \u2013 auch in Konzernen \u2013 das \u201eSie\u201c beinahe ausgestorben ist. Auch wir bei ALTHALLERcommunication sind untereinander per \u201eDu\u201c. Und es ist richtig, dass der Umgang per \u201eDu\u201c f\u00fcr eine moderne, internationale Arbeitswelt stehen kann (in Start-Ups und in den Generationen Y und Z ist das heute Standard).<\/p>\n

Die Frage ist aber, ob sich diese Zielgruppen, die digitalen Nomaden, die\u00a0 Start-Up-Vertreter und Hipster \u00a0auf Xing bewegen? Wir sagen Nein.<\/p>\n

Wer in der modernen, schnelllebigen, internationalen Arbeitswelt angekommen ist, nutzt l\u00e4ngst LinkedIn f\u00fcr den Aufbau und die Pflege von Gesch\u00e4ftskontakten. Xing ist ein deutsches Netzwerk, auf dem wir in allererster Linie den deutschen Mittelstand sehen. Und der deutsche Mittelstand ist nun mal wertkonservativ.<\/p>\n

Was hei\u00dft das konkret? Im deutschen Mittelstand ist das \u201eSie\u201c ein Zeichen von Respekt und H\u00f6flichkeit. Die Ansprache per \u201eDu\u201c wird schnell als Angriff oder Respektlosigkeit missverstanden. Wenn das \u201eDu\u201c angeboten wird, steht das f\u00fcr ein hohes Ma\u00df an Vertrauen und Verbindlichkeit. In den eigenen Gruppen oder innerhalb des bestehenden Netzwerks mag das \u201eDu\u201c ja in Ordnung sein \u2013 zum Kontaktaufbau auf Xing w\u00fcrden wir davon eher Abstand nehmen.<\/p>\n

Imagewechsel statt durchsichtigem Versuch, relevant zu bleiben<\/strong><\/p>\n

Im Hinblick auf die Zielgruppe von Xing wirkt die Einf\u00fchrung des \u201eDu\u201c auf uns eher wie der\u00a0 verzweifelte Versuch, in der Arbeitswelt von heute relevant zu bleiben. Dazu geh\u00f6rt aber deutlich mehr. Ein Imagewechsel w\u00fcrde dem Unternehmen guttun: die Einf\u00fchrung des \u201eDu\u201c, verpackt in einem Bundle aus Modernisierungsma\u00dfnahmen hin zu mehr Offenheit und Diversit\u00e4t durch Internationalit\u00e4t und Zweisprachigkeit \u2013 inklusive neuer Features wie einer WhatsApp-Integration usw. \u2013 zum Beispiel.<\/p>\n

Letztlich entscheidet jeder Nutzer weiter selbst, wie er mit wem auf dem Netzwerk kommuniziert. Wir pers\u00f6nlich bleiben f\u00fcr neue Kontakte beim \u201eSie\u201c. Aus Respekt.<\/p>\n
