\u201eDie Ank\u00fcndigung von Amazon, ab Januar 2022 keine VISA-Kreditkarten in UK mehr zu akzeptieren, sieht nach einem wohlkalkulierten Konflikt aus. Wer w\u00e4re besser geeignet, Visa herauszufordern, als ein anderer Gigant wie Amazon? Es ist gut, dass das Thema Kreditkartengeb\u00fchren in der Branchen\u00f6ffentlichkeit diskutiert wird, aber es sollte nicht dazu f\u00fchren, dass Amazon jetzt nur f\u00fcr sich Sonderkonditionen heraushandelt, vielmehr sollte die ganze Branche etwas davon haben. Genauer betrachtet spielen Kreditkarten immer noch eine wichtige Rolle: kein anderes Zahlungsmittel ist so global verwendbar und in so vielen Branchen etabliert wie die Kreditkarte. Auch die Akzeptanz- und Issuing-Netzwerke sind so umfassend wie sonst nirgends, das hat eine gro\u00dfe Bedeutung f\u00fcr H\u00e4ndler wie f\u00fcr Konsumenten. Debitkarten sind in den n\u00e4chsten 5 bis 10 Jahren noch kein ad\u00e4quater Ersatz, da die globalen Standards fehlen.\u201c<\/p>\n
