Darauf hat die Region lange gewartet, endlich ist es offiziell: EDEKA Rhein-Ruhr und ALDI S\u00dcD \u00fcbernehmen k\u00fcnftig die Rolle als Lebensmittelversorger in der huma Shoppingwelt in Sankt Augustin. Sie folgen damit auf das real,- SB-Warenhaus und \u00fcbernehmen einen Gro\u00dfteil der Verkaufsfl\u00e4che.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201eAus unserer Sicht wird mit dieser Nachfolge die Qualit\u00e4t des Lebensmitteleinzelhandels in der Region stark aufgewertet\u201c, freut sich Dr. Maximilian Gutsche als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Jost Hurler Gruppe, der Eigent\u00fcmerin der huma Shoppingwelt, \u00fcber den Vermietungserfolg. EDEKA und ALDI S\u00dcD teilen sich k\u00fcnftig die Fl\u00e4che in der vom Eigent\u00fcmer sogenannten \u201eStra\u00dfenebene\u201c. Sie liegt direkt am n\u00f6rdlichen Eingang des Centers in Richtung Park und S\u00fcdstra\u00dfe. Hier wird EDEKA ca. 6.800 m\u00b2 der Fl\u00e4che betreiben, ALDI S\u00dcD rund 1.700 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>Damit dies geschehen kann, sind allerdings umfangreiche Bauma\u00dfnahmen n\u00f6tig, um die sich urspr\u00fcnglich \u00fcber zwei Etagen verteilenden Verkaufsfl\u00e4che zu teilen. Rolltreppen m\u00fcssen entfernt, die haustechnische Versorgung getrennt und neu angelegt werden. Dies wird voraussichtlich mehrere Monate in Anspruch nehmen. Im Jahr 2009 \u00fcbernahm der Eigent\u00fcmer wieder den Betrieb, nachdem dieser viele Jahre durch die Metro AG erfolgte. Mit dem Wechsel wurde auch die Revitalisierung angesto\u00dfen, die einen kompletten Neubau im laufenden Betrieb bedeutete. Diese Ma\u00dfnahme wurde im September 2017 abgeschlossen.
