Communication via social media channels has continuously established itself in corporate communication and now occupies a prominent position – especially as an information and dialog tool.
Our long-term study “Social media in the B2B world” provides unique insights into the development of corporate communication via social media. It analyzes and evaluates key usage parameters and clearly shows which platforms are suitable for different forms of communication and target groups. The roles of individual platforms and channels in the communication mix are highlighted. The study also examines the varying behavior in the social media sector based on company size, industry, management style and function within the company. From its beginnings in 2010 to the present day, it offers a comprehensive view of developments and has been considered an indispensable tool for strategy and budget planning for B2B companies throughout the German-speaking world for several years.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in B2B communication, particularly in the context of social media work. The central question here revolves around the role of the various channels in the communication mix. Which channels are best suited for which tasks, and how can AI provide support?
Althaller communication and the “First Working Group on Social Media in B2B Communication” are now in their 15th year of addressing precisely these issues in their latest survey and investigating how the use of AI can transform social media work in B2B communication.
The long-term study “Social Media in the B2B World” thus offers a unique treasure trove of data that contains all the parameters required for the conceptualization of social media and cross-media strategies as well as for resource and budget planning. A unique, reliable compendium that supports social media managers reliably and effectively in every planning phase and gives them confidence in their daily work.
